Best RS: Design Competition

For years Corbeau has supplied the industry with the most advanced line of aftermarket seats available today. Whether it’s seats for street, race, off-road, or classic, we are the experts! Our suspension line of seats, famously known as the Baja line of seats, is the most sophisticated and affordable line of suspension seats money can buy. They feature our state of the art suspension technology, which reduces the amount of g-force transferred to the body, therefore preventing your back from absorbing all the shock from aggressive driving.

Our Baja RS was one of the first reclining suspension seats available and was a hit from day one. Its comfort and functionality are second to none. We feel that if there is one thing lacking in reclining suspension seats in general, it's the overall aesthetics or looks of the seats. Too often we hear that all suspension seats look the same. For years, we’ve done seats of all kinds: for street, race, off-road, classic, the office, and more. With this expertise, we feel it’s time to let you, the customer, help us design the Best RS ever. In other words, you submit to us design ideas for the Baja RS and that coupled with our expertise bringing it all together, will provide all off-road enthusiasts with the best looking, and most functional reclining suspension seat ever made. In an effort to sweeten the pot, the winning design or the design that helps us come up with the new Baja RS, will be the first recipient of this revolutionary seat, and will receive the seats, brackets, and harness belts absolutely free. In addition, if you so desire, you and your vehicle will be featured in at least one of the major off road magazines.

You don’t have to be an expert to submit your ideas. It can be as simple as sketching something on a piece of paper or as sophisticated as a 3D CAD drawing. You don’t need to get into the details of the internal structure of the seat, more the overall shape and design. Please be sure to read all the contest rules and information before submitting your ideas. The Best RS Contest: From 5/15/2010 through 8/31/2010, Corbeau will accept design ideas for the new Baja RS for the opportunity to win the grand prize as detailed below. Some restrictions apply.

Eligibility: Any person living in North America is eligible to submit ideas to Corbeau. Each person is allowed to submit up to three different design ideas. Some restrictions apply.

How to enter: Complete the product submission form found at the bottom of this page and submit it to Corbeau with your design ideas. Entries must be mailed to the address on the submission form, emailed to bestrs@corbeau.com, or faxed to 801-255-3222. All entries become the sole property of Corbeau and will not be returned. Corbeau may use all entries for any purpose. All entries must be received on or before August 31st, 2010. The selection will be held the week of September 6th , 2010. The decision of the winner by Corbeau is final. The contest winner will be notified by phone and/or mail no later than September 20th, 2010. Some restrictions apply.

How to win: The contest winner will be the one whose design helps lead to the final design of the new Baja RS. Corbeau reserves the right to select the winner based on what Corbeau feels is the most influential design. Only one winner will be chosen. Some restrictions apply.

Grand Prize: The contest winner will receive (2) of the new Baja RS seats along with (2) brackets and (2) 2” harness belts. If for any reason the winner does not want this particular seat, it can be exchanged for another seat of equal or lesser value. There will be no cash substitutions. Seats will be provided once the final product is available for sale. Some restrictions apply.

Miscellaneous: No royalties or any other forms of payment will be distributed to the winner or any contestant in any form. Each contestant agrees to be bound to the rules set forth by Corbeau. Corbeau reserves the right to at any time, terminate the Best RS contest.
